No, MyASLTeacherROCKs LLC was founded by a hearing individual with deep connections to the Deaf community. With over 20 years of experience as a certified ASL teacher and interpreter, as well as personal ties through family, the founder is passionate about fostering inclusivity and promoting ASL education. Our team is a collaborative group of Deaf, hard of hearing, and hearing individuals, all dedicated to providing high-quality ASL classes to learners of all levels.

Our #ParentsROCK Readiness Project is a non-profit organization designed to provide resources, support, and information to parents of children who are D/HH. Understanding that "one size DOES NOT fit all" is imperative. The goal of our #ParentsROCK Readiness Project is to “provide parents with all the necessary tools, even if they never use them.”
