#LittleSignersROCK Do I have to be present in the same room for my little signers classes?For #LittleSigners who are not familiar with Zoom virtual classes we do recommend that parents assist them the first couple of classes.

What happens if I need to miss class?We recognize that unforeseen circumstances can arise. If you ever need to miss a class, please ensure that you get in touch with either your instructor or our Program Director. It's important to note that missed classes won't be rescheduled.

What if I need to change my class schedule?No problem, we recommend getting with our Program Director as soon as possible for other class options. Please note a change in schedule will most likely change your instructor as well.

Is this company owned and operated by a person who is Deaf or hard of hearing?No. The founder of MyASLTeacherROCKs LLC is hearing and has been involved with the Deaf community through family members, as an interpreter for the Deaf, and as a certified ASL teacher for over 20 years. Our team consists of Deaf, hearing and hard of hearing individuals that have come together to provide quality ASL classes for interested learners.

Will my teacher be Deaf of hearing, because I want a Deaf teacher?As we grow we have teachers from all backgrounds and we do our best to match teachers with students based on location, preferred schedule, and other factors. A students ability to pick a specific teacher by degree of hearing loss is not one of those factors.

How do I cancel my subscription?To cancel your subscription please login to your account through our website and follow the instructions to cancel. Once complete you will receive and email informing you that your plan has been canceled. Refunds are not issued for early subscription cancellations.

I forgot to cancel my subscription can I be refunded?MyASLTeacherROCKs does not provide refunds unless an error occurred on our end with billing. If you forget to cancel a subscription we will allow you to continue your classes for that month.

Do you offer in-person classes?At this time our programs are 100% virtual. This allows us to bring our amazing program right to your home regardless of where you are located.

Do you offer tutoring outside of normal classes?Yes, we offer tutoring for individuals who need extra help. Email us info@myaslteacherrocks.com for more information.

What is the #ParentsROCK Readiness Project?Our #ParentsROCK Readiness Project is a non-profit organization designed to provide resources, support, and information to parents of children who are D/HH. Understanding that "one size DOES NOT fit all" is imperative. Which time zone are the classes displayed in?All classes are scheduled in Eastern Standard Time (EST).

Are there classes during the holidays and summer?We do have holidays and breaks built into our program. Our #LittleSigners program follows a traditional schedule with spring break and summer break, while all other subscription plans do have fall break, winter break and holidays. During our holidays and breaks we do not makeup any missed classes. Check the file below for more information.

How long is the program?Our program consists of 8 levels, each with varying completion times, contingent upon your individual information retention. Following the conclusion of each level, your Instructor will administer an assessment to determine your readiness for progression to the next level. It's important to note that your initial level of entry into our program may not necessarily be the first level, as it will be tailored to your existing knowledge and skills.
